Naruto RSS Feed
I updated the site over the weekend, mainly to the backend stuff which changed a bunch of URL addresses. One of the added feature is the commenting ability so that readers can add comments to my new posts.
For those of you who use RSS feeds, the feed URL has changed so the old RSS feed will not work.
The new RSS feed is http://www.narutoplace.com/feed/.
I’m really sorry for this inconvenience.
If you don’t know what RSS feeds are, they are basically a type of HTML code that allows software programs or web programs to interpret. The best way I can describe it is it works very similar to an email. When you get a new email, the new email shows up in your inbox. Now, if you subscribe to a feed, the software program or web program you use will let you know when there is a new article.
For example, if you use My Yahoo!, you can add these RSS feeds to it. Just click on this:

Edited version of Naruto DVD coming out in March
So after some digging around, I found out that the Naruto Volume 1 – Enter Naruto DVD will contain the first 4 episodes of Naruto. The episodes will be identical to the ones aired on Cartoon Network which means these episodes are not the unedited version.
The uncut DVD version will be released sometime in July. It will contain 13 episodes. There is no definite announcement on the prices of this 13 episode box set yet but people are estimating it will run between $30 to $40.

Naruto Contest by Shonen Jump to win original drawing of Naruto
There’s a Naruto Contest held by Shonen Jump. If you didn’t know, Shonen Jump is a weekly magazine with over 300 pages of manga, news and articles on artists, card games, video games, and toys.
They currently have a contest where the grand prize winner can receive an original drawing of Naruto drawn by Masashi Kishimoto. Kishimoto is the creator of Naruto. The drawing will have your name inscribed on it. You’ll also win a gift card worth $100 that you can use at Hot Topic. Hot Topic creates Naruto apparel.
Four runner-ups will each receive a Hot Topic $25 gift certificate.
The only way to participate in this contest is to purchase October’s issue of Shonen Jump which costs $4.99. It’s actually not that bad since you do get a cool magazine even though you don’t win.
You can check out the official announcement. By the way, you need to act fast because the contest ends at October 31, 2005.
